Magstadt. The current CFO Dominik Seel will take over the reins as the new CEO of HESS Cash Systems on 1 November, 2020. Ulrich Bauer, who has been CEO for many years, will retire on 31 October, 2020.
Ulrich Bauer successfully steered the helm of the HESS Group for 14 years. In his function as CEO, he positioned the company’s services on the market and set the strategic foundations for the future direction of HESS. “Already at this stage, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr Bauer for the work that he has done. On behalf of the entire Board, I wish him all the best for the next chapter in his life”, said Lars Felderhoff, Board Member of Gauselmann AG (the parent company of HESS).
The designated CEO Dominik Seel joined the Magstadt-based company as CFO in 2019. Prior to that, the then 47-year-old qualified business administrator (Dipl.-Kfm) was CFO of a medium-sized mechanical engineering company. “Dominik Seel integrated himself into the HESS Group rapidly and is therefore optimally prepared for the challenges ahead. In his new position, one of his tasks will be to progress the development of the company as a provider of digital solutions. We wish him every success with his duties as CEO”, explained Lars Felderhoff.
In the time that remains, Ulrich Bauer will hand over the activities that he is in charge of to Dominik Seel in order to ensure a smooth continuation of business activities. “I would like to thank Mr Bauer for his reliable work as part of the management, for his collegial support as well as for his excellent induction training and I look forward to further developing the company together with all employees, both in Germany and abroad”, said Dominik Seel.
